With three generations in the vineyard, we at Mt. Nittany Vineyard & Winery are dedicated to crafting exceptional local wine from our mountainside location in the heart of central Pennsylvania. The southern exposure and elevation of our vineyard provide a microclimate conducive to grape growing. The six varieties of grapes grown in our vineyard include Cayuga, Seyval Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Mount Nittany Vineyard & Winery produces 12-13,000 gallons of wine each year and harvests anywhere from 12-15 tons of grapes annually. We make award-winning wines to suit every taste, from dry to sweet, including fruit wines out of locally-sourced cherries, apples, blueberries and raspberries.
At the Boalsburg Farmer's Market we provide samples of a selection of our most popular wines. At the winery we offer complimentary tasting from our selection of 25+ wines. Winery tours are available by appointment. We take great pride in providing our guests with a fun and informative wine-tasting experience while they enjoy the ambiance of our beautiful setting.
